The New York Yankees (42-27) hold a commanding AL East lead and enter this Rogers Centre finale with superior overall depth despite multiple injuries, including Aaron Judge on the IL with a rib issue and recent additions to the outfield and catching corps. Will Warren’s strong 7-1, 3.28 ERA mark gives New York the clear edge on the mound against Patrick Corbin, whose 4.45 ERA has limited effectiveness. Toronto (roughly 34-37) sits nine games back, has shown inconsistent offense, and relies on home-field familiarity after splitting the first two games of the series. Recent bullpen usage and lineup adjustments for both clubs will shape late-inning leverage in what shapes up as a mismatch favoring the visitors’ rotation and record.
