In the ATP Challenger Cagliari round of 16 on clay, higher-ranked Mattia Bellucci (No. 78) faces compatriot Gianluca Cadenasso (No. 232) in their first head-to-head matchup. Bellucci advanced yesterday with a gritty upset over No. 5 seed Lorenzo Sonego, 6-4, 1-6, 7-5, demonstrating strong clay form and mental toughness despite dropping a set. Cadenasso secured a straight-sets win over Lorenzo Carboni in the opener, riding momentum as an underdog. Trader consensus favors Bellucci's experience, left-handed power, and superior ranking, though Cadenasso's similar build (both 175cm) and home-crowd energy add upset potential on outdoor clay courts with no reported injuries or weather issues.
