Alexandra Eala holds the clear edge entering this WTA 125K Birmingham Open semifinal on grass, backed by her world No. 37 ranking, consistent recent results, and strong grass-court momentum after a straight-sets quarterfinal win over Mananchaya Sawangkaew. The Filipino has shown improved serve and movement on the surface this week, building on her prior grass experience including an Eastbourne final run. Rebeka Masarova, ranked No. 132, has impressed by advancing through qualifying with multiple three-set victories and brings height, reach, and power that could trouble Eala in rallies. Their limited head-to-head favors Eala, though the Swiss player's current form and stylistic contrast keep the matchup competitive on the fast courts.
