Otherwise, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If a player is officially announced as part of the starting lineup but is replaced before the game begins for any reason, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". Only players that are on the pitch at kick off will be counted toward a "Yes" resolution. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after June 29, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the listed player cannot be confirmed as a part of Spain's official 1st match starting lineup for the 2026 FIFA World Cup within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source for this market will be information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.Spain's 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, announced May 25 by coach Luis de la Fuente, features a Euro 2024 core plus emerging talents but notably excludes all Real Madrid players. Lamine Yamal's inclusion despite a hamstring injury sustained in April shapes early lineup discussions, as does Rodri's central midfield anchor role alongside Pedri and Fabián Ruiz. Projected 4-3-3 setups for the June 15 opener against Cape Verde and subsequent group matches against Saudi Arabia and Uruguay consistently highlight Unai Simón in goal, a back line including Marc Cucurella, Pau Cubarsí, and Aymeric Laporte, plus wingers Nico Williams and Yamal. Fitness recoveries, tactical preferences, and in-tournament rotations will determine final starting XIs amid an expanded 48-team format.
