The 2026 WNBA season features an expanded 15-team league with eight playoff berths awarded based on overall standings rather than conferences. Early results have positioned the Minnesota Lynx (10-3), Las Vegas Aces (10-3), New York Liberty (9-4), and Atlanta Dream (8-4) atop the table, driving their postseason probabilities into the 85-90% range on Polymarket. Dallas Wings and Golden State Valkyries sit just behind at .615 winning percentage, while expansion sides like Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo trail. Key variables include Napheesa Collier’s recovery timeline for Minnesota, the August trade deadline, remaining schedule difficulty, and potential roster adjustments that could shift the tight middle of the standings before the regular season concludes in September.
