This market will resolve according to the official UFC Flyweight division champion on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Only official UFC division champions will count. Interim champions will not count. If the relevant belt is vacant at this market’s check time, or there is otherwise no champion in the specified division, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).**Joshua Van holds the UFC flyweight title after an injury-shortened win over Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 323 in December 2025, followed by a TKO retention against Tatsuro Taira at UFC 328 in May 2026.** Pantoja, the long-reigning former champion, is recovering from his arm injury and remains a top contender with an expected return later in 2026 that could trigger an immediate rematch. Kyoji Horiguchi has climbed rankings with recent wins, including a decision over Amir Albazi, and faces Manel Kape on June 20, 2026, positioning him for a potential title shot. Kape sits on a strong win streak, while Taira has shown elite grappling and youth. The top probabilities cluster tightly because the division features multiple active, high-level contenders with realistic paths to the belt through the second half of 2026 via title defenses, returns from injury, or ranking-climbing wins. Trader consensus reflects this open field, where form, matchmaking, and any late injuries could shift outcomes before year-end.
