Trader consensus reflects a dead heat among Lucas Hernández, Luis Díaz, Thiago Almada, and Ilya Zabarnyi, each priced near 50% implied probability for most red cards in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League, as no player exceeds one straight red through the league phase and quarterfinals. Hernández's December elbow on Tottenham earned a three-game ban, Zabarnyi's October denial-of-goal foul versus Bayer Leverkusen triggered a penalty and dismissal, while Almada and Díaz drew ejections for rash challenges in high-stakes ties, highlighting their aggressive defending and midfield pressing. With semifinals underway—featuring PSG, Atlético Madrid, and Liverpool in tense knockout matchups—these combative profiles fuel the tight race, as disciplinary lapses remain possible amid escalating intensity and referee scrutiny.
