Arsenal stand as the sole unbeaten side in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League after a gritty 1-1 first-leg semifinal draw at Atlético Madrid, where penalties from Viktor Gyökeres and Julián Álvarez left the tie poised ahead of the Emirates return leg on May 5. Their flawless record—spanning league phase triumphs over Slavia Prague, Club Brugge, Inter, Bayer Leverkusen, and Sporting CP, plus knockout wins—fuels trader consensus at 52% for an unbeaten champion, but Atlético's defensive resilience under Simeone creates balance, compounded by Arsenal's injury-hit attack. A second-leg slip would end the run, while advancement pits them against the PSG-Bayern winner (after PSG's 5-4 thriller), both knockout-tested heavyweights in the May 30 Budapest final.
