MaxPax, the world #3-rated Protoss player, carries strong trader consensus favoritism into the WardiTV Team Liquid Map Contest 16 upper bracket quarterfinal BO5 against Rogue, bolstered by a 3594 aligulac rating versus Rogue's 3103 (#12), a 4-3 head-to-head edge including a dominant 4-0 win earlier in 2026, and recent ladder wins despite a 1-3 loss to Clem on April 22. Rogue, a South Korean Zerg on Team Falcons, impressed with a flawless 4-0 Group B run (8-0 maps) over Clem, Classic, Lambo, and SKillous around April 17-21, showcasing sharp form on the contest's fresh map pool like Lumen and Sanctuary III where Zerg held a 55% group win rate. The double-elimination playoffs feature volatile new maps, rest advantages absent, and potential for Zerg macro upsets in this PvZ clash scheduled for April 23.
