As of late April 2026, MLB has seen zero no-hitters through roughly the first month of the 2,430-game regular season, following a historic shutout in 2025—the first full season without one since 2005. Recent close calls, including Ranger Suárez flirting with history on April 27 against the Blue Jays and earlier bids broken in the seventh or sooner, highlight pitching dominance amid low offensive outputs league-wide. With over 1,600 contests remaining, including high-profile rotations featuring leaders like Chris Sale and George Kirby, trader consensus reflects historical norms of 2-3 no-hitters annually, often combined no-nos from starters and bullpens, though park factors and hitter-friendly lineups could suppress the total.

If no no-hitters are thrown during the 2026 MLB season (including postseason), the market will resolve to “No”.
A ‘no-hitter’ is a complete game in which a pitcher(s) yields no hits to the opposing team.
If the 2026 MLB season concludes early, is shortened, or is truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available MLB statistics for completed games.
If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if the exact number of “no-hitters” cannot be determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "No".
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
