Baltimore Orioles and Seattle Mariners enter their next series with the Mariners holding a modest edge in the AL West at roughly 37-35 while Baltimore sits near .470 in the AL East at 34-38. The teams split a four-game set in Baltimore earlier in June, highlighted by the Orioles' 7-5 win on June 11 powered by a six-run third inning, Pete Alonso's homer, and Adley Rutschman's three RBIs against Seattle's Bryan Woo. Mariners starters have shown mixed results on the road, while Orioles pitching has dealt with injuries including Chris Bassitt's placement on the IL. Key factors include recent form, bullpen reliability, and how each club's offense handles opposing starters in what projects as a competitive interleague-style matchup.
