Estéban Lepaul's commanding three-goal lead with 18 tallies in 31 Ligue 1 appearances has solidified trader consensus at an 83% implied probability for top goalscorer honors, fueled by his latest strike in Rennes' 2-1 victory over Nantes last weekend and a 17th goal in a 3-0 win at Strasbourg on April 23. Mason Greenwood sits second at 15 goals for Marseille but blanked in their 1-1 draw versus Nice on April 26, dimming upset hopes amid a congested finish with just three matchdays remaining, including Marseille's tricky trip to Nantes this weekend. Lower options like Monaco's Mika Biereth reflect limited recent output despite solid underlying form, underscoring the golden boot race's late-stage clarity driven by Lepaul's consistency and Rennes' European chase.
