Manchester United's three-point lead and superior +14 goal difference over Liverpool (+13) and Aston Villa (+5) at 58 points each underpin trader consensus pricing them as 68% favorites for third in the Premier League table, securing Champions League qualification. Their position strengthened after a hard-fought 2-1 home win over Brentford on April 27, extending the gap amid strong recent form under interim manager Michael Carrick, who has revitalized the squad since January. Liverpool have closed ground lately but face a pivotal northwest derby at Old Trafford this weekend, while Villa's inferior GD and potential cup distractions weigh on their 4.5% odds; Arsenal and Manchester City remain uncatchable atop the standings.
