In the Aix-en-Provence Challenger quarterfinals on clay, No. 48 Ethan Quinn meets No. 100 Yibing Wu in their first head-to-head clash. Wu rides strong clay momentum, undefeated in sets here after straight-set wins over Alexandre Muller and seeded Alexander Shevchenko (7-6(8), 7-5), extending his 8-2 YTD clay record capped by a recent Sarasota Challenger title. Quinn, boasting a career-high ranking after a Phoenix Challenger hard-court final, rallied from a set deficit to defeat Martin Landaluce 1-6, 7-6(5), 7-6(5) in round of 16 but sits 6-4 on clay this year. No injuries noted; Wu's surface edge and lighter match load shape trader consensus for a competitive battle.
