In the ATP Challenger Aix-en-Provence quarterfinal on outdoor clay, No. 48 Ethan Quinn faces No. 100 Yibing Wu in their first head-to-head, with trader consensus reflecting Quinn's higher ranking and recent resilience against Wu's clay-court surge. Both advanced Thursday via grueling Round of 16 wins: Quinn rallied from a set and break down to edge Martin Landaluce 1-6, 7-6(5), 7-6(5), while Wu upset No. 7 seed Aleksandr Shevchenko 7-6(8), 7-5 after dispatching Alexandre Muller 6-3, 6-4 in the Round of 32. Wu enters hot off a Sarasota Challenger title last month; Quinn showed Houston Round of 16 form but mixed clay results post-Madrid first-round exit. No injury concerns; mild overcast conditions expected.
