Francisco Cerundolo's higher ATP ranking near the top 20 and proven red-clay prowess position him as the 67% implied-probability favorite in this Internazionali BNL d'Italia second-round matchup, reflecting trader consensus on his edge over No. 35 Alejandro Tabilo. Cerundolo boasts a 2-1 head-to-head lead, bolstered by a Buenos Aires title in February, a Monte Carlo upset over Tsitsipas, and recent Madrid progress, showcasing consistent baseline grinding and stamina in Masters 1000 events. Tabilo enters hot off an Aix-en-Provence Challenger crown last week and a rain-interrupted 6-2, 6-1 rout of Pablo Carreno Busta in R1, but his lower seeding and occasional inconsistency on big stages temper upset potential despite stylistic clay affinities.
