No. 116 Dalibor Svrcina holds a clear ranking edge over No. 257 Tristan Boyer in their ATP Challenger Tunis second-round clash on red clay courts, where the Czech's baseline game and sliding ability suit the slower surface. Both advanced via first-round wins—Svrcina defeating Henry Bernet 2-0, Boyer overcoming Aziz Dougaz—building early tournament momentum ahead of today's Court Central matchup. Boyer leads their head-to-head 1-0 from a tight hard-court win at New Delhi Challenger in 2024, but clay shifts dynamics. Boyer's recent disqualification on May 5 for smashing the umpire's chair raises questions about composure under pressure, with no reported injuries for either player and mild Tunis weather favoring steady play.
