Jaume Munar holds the ranking edge at No. 38 against Martin Damm’s No. 116, giving the Spaniard greater overall experience on the ATP Tour entering this grass-court opener at the Libema Open. Damm, a 6-foot-8 left-hander, recently secured his main-draw spot by defeating Max Houkes in qualifying and possesses the serve power and reach that often translate well on the fast indoor/outdoor grass at 's-Hertogenbosch. Munar’s consistent baseline game and prior success on varied surfaces provide a counter to Damm’s raw athletic tools, though the American’s recent form and physical advantages create a competitive matchup where surface-specific adjustments and early break opportunities could shift momentum quickly.
