Clement Tabur enters the Savannah Challenger first-round clash against Andres Martin as the clear trader favorite after capturing the Tallahassee Challenger title last week on clay, where he ousted Martin 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 in the round of 16 before powering through to the final. Ranked No. 167 to Martin's No. 269, the Frenchman boasts superior recent clay form with a tournament-winning run, including straight-sets wins over strong challengers, while Martin notched a qualifying victory before the loss. On Savannah's green clay courts—faster than European red clay—Tabur's stylistic edge in baseline rallies and higher Elo rating shapes implied probabilities, though Martin's U.S. home support and revenge motivation add upset potential amid clear weather conditions.
