Ethan Quinn, seeded fourth and ranked No. 48, holds a ranking edge and 1-0 head-to-head lead over Martin Landaluce (No. 99) from a straight-sets hard-court win in the 2025 Canberra Challenger semifinal, entering the Aix-en-Provence Challenger round of 16 with a first-round bye. Landaluce advanced via a gritty comeback against wildcard Daniel Jade (4-6, 6-1, 6-3) on April 28, underscoring his resilience on clay where he sits 4-3 YTD amid a recent hot streak including a Monza Challenger semifinal. Quinn is 5-4 on clay this year post-Madrid first-round exit, setting up a stylistic clash on outdoor red dirt favoring the Spaniard's baseline grinding over the American's power game, with no reported injuries.
