In the Bengaluru 2 Challenger round of 32 on hard courts, Manish Sureshkumar's higher ATP ranking (No. 829) and stronger 2026 hard-court record (17-12) give him an edge over 18-year-old qualifier Ronit Karki (career-high No. 951, 10-4 on hard this year), shaping trader consensus around the Indian veteran's experience and home-crowd support. Karki enters with momentum from straight-set qualifier wins over Aradhya Kshitij (6-3, 6-2) and Parth Aggarwal (6-2, 6-1) in the past 48 hours, dominating serve points without dropping a set. Sureshkumar arrives off a competitive three-set second-round loss to S D Prajwal Dev in M25 Nakhon Pathom last week. First head-to-head; no reported injuries, with Bengaluru's mild weather favoring baseline play.
