Rising Spanish teenager Rafael Jodar, ranked No. 55, enters his Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell round-of-16 clash with Camilo Ugo Carabelli on a scorching seven-match win streak, including a dominant 6-2, 6-1 semifinal rout of the Argentine at last week's Marrakech ATP 250 clay event—his first tour final. Jodar, a 19-year-old local, cruised 6-1, 6-2 over a compatriot in the prior round, leveraging home-court energy at Real Club de Tenis Barcelona. Carabelli, No. 64, advanced via a gritty 6-3, 6-4 upset of No. 17 Karen Khachanov but faces revenge denial on the clay surface where Jodar previously overwhelmed him. No reported injuries; stylistic matchup favors Jodar's baseline power and recent momentum.
