Glinka, a lefty with a one-handed backhand, defeated qualifier Stefan Dostanic 6-2, 7-6(3), extending his strong 2026 hard-court form despite a modest career clay record (7-14 at Challenger/ITF level). Blanch, a rising lefty prospect with a two-handed backhand, notched a momentum-building upset over higher-ranked Daniel Elahi Galan 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 and leads their head-to-head 1-0 from a tight Knoxville Challenger semifinal win (6-4, 7-6(2)) on indoor hard last November. Home crowd support and Blanch's promising junior clay success (73% win rate) add upset potential against Glinka's ranking edge, with no reported injuries.
