In the Tallahassee Challenger on clay, higher-ranked Oliver Crawford (No. 222) faced underdog Jack Kennedy (No. 864) in the second round, with trader consensus favoring Crawford due to his stronger recent form, including a straight-sets win over Duje Ajdukovic in the opener and better surface history on clay. Kennedy, a young American, built momentum by upsetting Lukas Neumayer in the first round, leveraging home-crowd support and aggressive baseline play, though his lower ranking and limited Challenger experience posed barriers. No injuries reported; key factors included Crawford's superior Elo rating (1459 vs. Kennedy's lower), first-time head-to-head, and outdoor conditions favoring steady servers amid Florida humidity. Upset potential hinged on Kennedy's power from the backcourt exploiting any Crawford errors.
