Chak Lam Coleman Wong enters as the clear ranking favorite at No. 121 against Clement Chidekh (No. 176) in the Gwangju Challenger first-round matchup on outdoor hard courts, reflecting trader consensus on Wong's seeding edge, height advantage (191cm vs. 180cm), and stronger recent hard-court momentum. Chidekh arrives off a first-round loss to Rio Noguchi in last week's Busan Challenger, despite winning four of his prior five matches, while Wong notched a straight-sets qualifying win over Renta Tokuda days ago and boasts a superior 42-34 record over the past year. With no head-to-head history, stylistic edges favor Wong's serve on fast hard, though Chidekh's resilience could fuel an upset in this Asia swing opener amid neutral conditions and no reported injuries.
