In the ATP Challenger Aix-en-Provence quarterfinals on clay, No. 2 seed Alejandro Tabilo (ATP 43) holds a decided edge over No. 5 seed Ignacio Buse (ATP 58) via a perfect 3-0 head-to-head record, including a straight-sets 6-3, 6-3 semifinal win over Buse at the Rio Open on clay in February 2026. Tabilo advanced with a gritty three-set comeback against veteran Roberto Bautista Agut in the round of 16, showcasing resilience despite recent clay losses in Madrid and Monte-Carlo. Buse rides momentum from straight-sets triumphs over Francisco Comesana and qualifier Thomas Faurel, highlighting his rising form amid a career-high ranking. Mild weather favors baseline play, with no reported injuries.
