Santiago Rodriguez Taverna holds a clear edge in this Tucuman Challenger first-round matchup on outdoor clay, leveraging his Argentine background and greater experience at this level against Karim Bennani. Taverna, a former top-200 player with strong clay-court credentials, benefits from home-soil familiarity and recent South American scheduling, while Bennani arrives after a straight-sets loss on clay in Kosice and limited ATP-level success. Their limited head-to-head history shows balanced results, but Taverna’s superior ranking history and consistency on the surface shape trader consensus around his implied probability. No major injuries or withdrawals have been reported, keeping the focus on form and conditions for the June 8 encounter.
