Florent Bax, ATP No. 265 and third seed, holds a clear edge over Niels Visker (No. 541) in their Abidjan 1 Challenger round-of-16 clash on hard courts, marking their first head-to-head. Bax cruised past Karan Singh 6-3, 7-6(2) in the opener, firing five aces at 79% first-serve points won, while Visker notched a solid 7-5, 6-2 upset over Sebastian Gima. Bax's recent career-high ranking underscores his Challenger consistency, contrasting Visker's lower-tier form despite a 6'3" serving advantage and one-handed backhand. Hot, humid conditions near 30°C in Abidjan favor endurance; no injuries or withdrawals noted in the past 48 hours.
