Florent Bax, the No. 3 seed ranked ATP 265, holds a favorable edge over Karan Singh (ATP 434) in their round-of-32 clash at the Abidjan 1 Challenger on outdoor hard courts, buoyed by a 6-4, 6-4 head-to-head win over Singh in the same event last year. Bax's recent peak ranking reflects steady Challenger-level form on hard, while the younger Singh has shown promise but struggles against higher-ranked foes, with no reported injuries or withdrawals for either. Traders weigh Bax's experience and surface familiarity against Singh's upset potential in humid Abidjan conditions, where quick points and serving efficiency often decide early-round outcomes. No major developments in the past 48 hours have shifted the closely contested trader consensus.
