Both Tier 1 KPL squads enter without blessings or prior tournament matches here, facing off April 28 at 13:55 CST in single-elimination play that advances winners to BO7 Round 2. Recent roster refreshes for both—JDG featuring NaiLong and Jiu, WE with DuJi and MoYan—add uncertainty amid Global Ban & Pick rules, but JDG's higher momentum tempers WE's upset potential in this high-stakes qualifier path to KPL Grand Finals.
