The Montreal Alouettes visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for the 2026 CFL season opener at Tim Hortons Field, with both clubs entering at 0-0. Montreal’s offense faces notable absences, including wide receivers DeVonte Dedmon, Zakhari Franklin, and Hakeem Harris plus running back Stevie Scott III, all sidelined by hamstring injuries on the final report. Hamilton lists one key absence in wide receiver Shemar Bridges. The matchup features typical East Division rival elements, with the home side holding recent head-to-head success in regular-season play and the visitors carrying momentum from their 2025 East Final victory over the Tiger-Cats. Weather and any late roster adjustments ahead of kickoff remain the primary variables for this Thursday night contest.
