Singapore's momentum stems from their 3-1 group stage victory over South Korea at the ongoing ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London 2026, highlighted by Zeng Jian's (WR34) 3-1 win over Kim Nayeong and Zhou Jingyi's gritty 3-2 triumph against Lee Zion, securing top spot in their group as defending champions from Moscow 2024. South Korea counters with depth from top-10 contender Shin Yubin and recent upset history, including a 3-1 defeat of China. Momentum-shifting factors include player rotation, fatigue from prior rubbers, or standout forehand spin in decisive games.
