Over the past 48 hours, Germany demonstrated depth in 3-1 and 3-0 group wins over France and England before a narrow 1-3 loss to Japan, while Malaysia's 3-1 upset potential against the USA highlights resilience despite lower seeding. Head-to-head history is limited, but fatigue from packed schedules or late scratches could tip odds, emphasizing table tennis's unpredictability in tight rallies and spin battles.
