Dalma Galfi holds a perfect 2-0 head-to-head edge over higher-ranked Alycia Parks (No. 79 vs. No. 119), including a straight-sets win last month at Linz on indoor courts, fueling trader sentiment in this Internazionali BNL d'Italia qualifying opener on Rome's clay. Parks impressed on clay last week in Madrid, upsetting strong baseline player Elisabetta Cocciaretto 6-3, 6-2 before a three-set loss to Ann Li, showcasing her powerful groundstrokes adapting to the surface where she holds a 38.7% career WTA win rate. Galfi, with a comparable 43.5% clay record, exited early last week at a WTA 125 clay event but brings qualifier experience and stylistic matchup advantages in extended rallies. No reported injuries; outdoor conditions in Rome favor consistent movers.
