Suzan Lamens and Dalma Galfi meet in Berlin qualifying on grass, where surface-specific records heavily influence outcomes. Galfi enters with a clear edge on the low-bouncing surface, posting a 61% career win rate (27-17) and a 1-0 mark this season, while Lamens sits at just 31% lifetime on grass and has struggled with recent results, including a loss in 's-Hertogenbosch. Galfi also leads the head-to-head and brings stronger first-serve efficiency suited to quick points. Lamens counters with better return metrics overall, but her recent 11-16 record in 2026 and limited grass success limit her edge. The match serves as a key tune-up ahead of Wimbledon qualifying.
