Valve's recent CS2 updates have expanded trade-up contracts to include knives, gloves, and souvenir items, establishing clear momentum in that system without extending to stickers. The Cologne 2026 Major rollout removed random sticker capsules while retaining rarity tiers, sparking speculation but delivering no trade-up mechanics or official timeline. Community discussions highlight logistical hurdles around sticker economics and collections, mirroring how Valve has historically paced feature rollouts around major events rather than accelerating them. With the implied probability favoring "No" at 77.5%, traders view the next five months as unlikely to produce the change absent a sudden policy shift.
