Trader consensus heavily favors Merab Dvalishvili at 74% implied probability for Petr Yan's next UFC bantamweight title defense, driven by Dvalishvili's recent April statements that UFC matchmakers promised him the trilogy bout upon Yan's summer return from back surgery. Their rivalry—Dvalishvili's prior win followed by Yan's unanimous decision reclaim at UFC 323—fuels expectations of an immediate rubber match, with both fighters confirming the matchup in interviews. Sean O'Malley trails at 14.2% amid buzz around his potential interim title eliminator versus Aiemann Zahabi at UFC White House, positioning him as a high-profile alternative if Yan pivots. Lower probabilities for Umar Nurmagomedov and others reflect ranked contender status without similar direct assurances.
