Joe Pyfer's second-round TKO of former champion Israel Adesanya in the UFC Seattle main event on March 28 propelled him into middleweight title contention, but with no official matchup announced and Pyfer still recovering per his April 27 IG Live, traders remain split on his next opponent. Matchmakers highlight Caio Borralho as a title eliminator after Borralho's recent win over Reinier de Ridder, while Dricus Du Plessis offers a stylistic clash with the ex-champ, Nassourdine Imavov—whom Pyfer called his toughest potential foe—and surging Anthony Hernandez and Brendan Allen round out the tight field due to their top-ranked form and win streaks. This lack of clarity keeps implied probabilities bunched at 47-49%, reflecting the division's crowded contender landscape ahead of UFC 328.
