Semifinal first legs in the UEFA Champions League have kept the race for the trophy intensely competitive, with Bayern Munich trailing Paris Saint-Germain 4-5 after a thrilling nine-goal encounter at Parc des Princes on April 28, setting up a high-stakes second leg at Allianz Arena where Bayern's home advantage and attacking firepower could flip the tie. Meanwhile, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid played out a tense 1-1 draw on April 29, decided by penalties from Viktor Gyökeres and Julián Álvarez, leaving the aggregate score level ahead of Arsenal's Emirates return. All four advanced through dramatic quarterfinals—Bayern ousting Real Madrid 6-4 on aggregate, PSG crushing Liverpool 4-0, Atletico edging Barcelona 3-2, and Arsenal grinding past their opponent 1-0—fueling trader consensus that clusters Bayern (31.5%), PSG (30.5%), and Arsenal (28.5%) tightly, underscoring the knockout unpredictability with no major injuries reported and second legs pivotal.
