Mitch Marner’s 89% implied probability reflects his record-setting three-goal outburst in just 6:10 during Game 3 of the Vegas Golden Knights–Carolina Hurricanes Stanley Cup Final, the fastest hat trick in Finals history and the first four-point period in the series. That performance, part of a dominant playoff scoring lead for the Golden Knights forward, established a high single-game benchmark that few skaters have matched in recent championship play. Remaining games could still alter the outcome if another player—such as a Carolina forward or Vegas depth option—records four or more goals, though historical Finals data shows such outbursts remain rare even in high-scoring series.
