At 29, Benavidez's youth and high-volume output contrast Ramirez's 48-1 ledger (30 KOs) and technical southpaw style, bolstered by four straight cruiserweight wins but tempered by age 34 and a post-surgery layoff last summer. Similar tale of the tape—6'2" heights, 75" reaches—sets up a stylistic clash, with final press conference faceoffs yesterday showing mutual respect amid over 200 prior sparring rounds; no injury concerns reported ahead of today's weigh-ins.
