This market will resolve “Yes” if any player records a 5x5 stat line in any game during the 2026 NBA Finals. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. A 5x5 is achieved when a player records a single-game stat line of 5 or more in the following statistical categories: points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. If the 2026 NBA Finals is cancelled, postponed after July 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined if a triple-double occurred within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “50-50”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The absence of any 5x5 performances across NBA postseason history, including every prior Finals series, anchors trader consensus at 97% on "No." Only 23 such lines have occurred league-wide since steals and blocks became official stats in 1973-74, all in the regular season, with Hakeem Olajuwon accounting for six. In the current Knicks-Spurs matchup, the defensive intensity, limited possessions, and matchup-specific schemes reduce opportunities for one player to clear five points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks simultaneously. Victor Wembanyama's recent regular-season 5x5s highlight the rarity even for elite versatile bigs, while historical near-misses like Draymond Green's playoff attempt underscore how close games fall short. An outlier defensive outburst from a multi-category contributor on either roster remains the primary scenario that could shift the outcome before the series concludes.
