Lens commands a decisive seven-point lead over third-placed Lyon and Lille in the Ligue 1 table after 31 matches, with a superior +28 goal difference providing a critical buffer against ties, leaving just three fixtures to secure Champions League qualification via second place. Recent results, including a gritty draw at Nice and consistent away form, have solidified their position, as challengers falter amid tighter schedules and occasional draws. Traders price Rennes, Lyon, Lille, and even leader PSG as longshots due to their seven-plus point deficits and tougher run-ins. Only a catastrophic Lens collapse—multiple defeats paired with rivals' clean sweeps—could realistically upend this, though their defensive solidity makes it improbable.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
