RC Lens holds a commanding six-point lead over Lyon and Lille for second place in Ligue 1 after 30 matches, backed by a +28 goal difference and consistent form that has traders pricing them at 94.5% implied probability to secure the spot behind frontrunning PSG. Recent developments include Lens rebounding from a 3-0 derby loss to Lille on April 4 with steady results amid round 30 action, while third-place contenders Lyon (57 points from 31 games) gained momentum from a shock 2-1 win over PSG on April 19 but remain hampered by an extra match played. Rennes trails at 56 points. Realistic challenges include Lens slumping in their final eight fixtures—especially the last-day clash at Lyon—or a combination of challengers' winning streaks and potential PSG distractions from Champions League semis versus Bayern, though the gap and Lens's home strength make upsets unlikely.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Ligue 1 as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
