This aligns with current atmospheric patterns featuring a strengthened jet stream that favors cooler-than-average mid-June conditions rather than the seasonal climatological peak near 19–20°C. Traders appear to weigh the narrow range of outcomes around 15–17°C most heavily, reflecting limited potential for significant high-pressure development or southerly advection over the next 48 hours. Short-range updates through Thursday morning, including any revisions to cloud cover or precipitation timing, will refine the final observed high at official stations.
