This market will resolve to "Yes" if it is officially announced that Fnatic will be, has been, or is being acquired by or merged with another entity by the listed date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Mergers or acquisitions involving Fnatic or a parent/subsidiary company will qualify. Fnatic ceasing to exist as an independent entity through merger, consolidation, or similar transaction will qualify. An announcement by Fnatic or its acquiring entity within this market's timeframe will qualify for a "Yes" resolution, regardless of whether or when the announced acquisition/merger actually occurs. Announcements of partial sales may count, as long as the acquiring company acquires a controlling interest in Fnatic. A "controlling interest" refers to a change in ownership sufficient to control the company's strategic decisions (typically more than 50% of equity, or equivalent control via voting and governance rights). Transactions or investments that do not result in a transfer of controlling interest will not count. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Fnatic and the acquiring entity; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Fnatic has explored a potential sale or merger since December 2025, when reports emerged of the London-based esports organization engaging advisors to solicit interest from sports investors at roughly a $100 million valuation. Recent May 2026 developments include credible reports of meetings with two European football clubs—one confirmed from Germany—pursuing a flagship esports asset, though no official announcement has occurred. Ongoing buyer interest, negotiation timelines, and regulatory diligence steps shape trader consensus around near-even probabilities for announcement windows in early versus mid-summer 2026. Roster continuity across titles like Valorant and League of Legends for the 2026 season supports operational stability while these factors determine deal pace.
