The Esports World Cup 2026 Korea Qualifier for League of Legends launches May 4 in double-elimination format, pitting nine LCK teams—excluding pre-qualified defending champions Gen.G—against each other for two main event slots, with seeding from LCK 2026 Round 1 results. Top performers like T1, Hanwha Life Esports, Dplus KIA, and KT Rolster enter as trader favorites, buoyed by dominant recent split showings including undefeated streaks for T1 alongside Gen.G. Fearless Draft across Bo3/Bo5 series demands roster depth and adaptability, while overlapping LCK schedule risks fatigue; early matchups such as DRX vs. DN SOOPers in play-in and T1 vs. HANJIN BRION highlight potential upsets based on head-to-head trends and patch meta shifts.
