Arsenal hold a slender lead atop the Premier League table over Manchester City on goal difference or a single point after 34 matches, with both sides tied at +37 GD and just four games remaining, fueling the razor-thin 50.5%-49.0% trader split for second place. City's dramatic 2-1 Etihad victory over Arsenal on April 19 sliced Arsenal's lead to three points, followed by a 1-0 win at relegation-threatened Burnley on April 22 that briefly installed City top—but Arsenal responded with a vital home win versus Newcastle to reclaim pole. Comparable remaining fixtures against mid-table sides like Fulham, West Ham, and Brentford offer no clear edge, while both squads boast near-perfect recent form and full squads, underscoring the high-stakes endgame duel.
