Rwanda Women host Zimbabwe High Performance XI in the opening round of the 2026 Kwibuka Women's T20 Tournament at Gahanga International Cricket Stadium, where the five-team event runs June 10–20. Rwanda draws on home-ground familiarity, recent domestic preparation, and its 2023 title win, while Zimbabwe HPC arrives with continuity from its 2025 runner-up finish and strong recent results against associate sides. The absence of traditional powers Tanzania and Uganda opens the field, placing early emphasis on form, squad depth, and adaptation to Kigali conditions in what remains a closely contested group stage matchup.
