Borussia Dortmund's commanding five-point lead over RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga table after 31 matchdays—67 points with a +34 goal difference versus Leipzig's 62 and +24—positions them as heavy trader favorites at 80.7% implied probability for second place, securing automatic Champions League qualification behind runaway leaders Bayern Munich. Dortmund's emphatic 4-0 home win over in-form Freiburg on April 26 solidified their buffer, showcasing strong recent form with seven wins in their last 10 league games. Leipzig, despite a solid campaign, faltered with draws and losses in key recent fixtures, including a 2-2 stalemate against Dortmund in February, leaving them needing maximum points from remaining matches against St. Pauli and others while hoping Dortmund drops results against Eintracht Frankfurt and beyond. With three matchdays left until May 16, Dortmund's superior head-to-head edge and home-heavy schedule underpin trader consensus.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Bundesliga as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Bundesliga. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
